The Data Management team member will assume ownership and management of referential data to ensure firm is getting full utilization and benefit. Additionally, work closely with Information Technology, Investment Teams, Finance, Analytics and Reporting teams to understand current and future data needs, map data flows, and drive strategic initiatives to develop data management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records across all investment strategies and Adams Street funds, facilitating seamless data integration and accessibility.
  • Innovate and implement effective methods to collect, maintain, and distribute data throughout the organization.
  • Develop, document, and uphold processes to guarantee that critical dimensions of data quality are consistently met, fostering a culture of data excellence.
  • Identify, design, and implement automated solutions to replace ineffective or manual processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand their unique data needs and use cases, ensuring tailored data solutions that meet diverse requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvements in data management and utilization practices, leveraging feedback and best practices to optimize data workflows.
  • Assist in managing all vendor contracts and subscription licenses, ensuring cost-effective data solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of undergraduate degree
  • Minimum of one to four years of work experience
  • Experience working in financial services preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record managing multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and balance priorities
  • Technically proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated interest or progress towards learning SQL and Python a plus
