As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll drive the identification, validation, and launch of new ventures, while supporting our growing portfolio from strategy to fundraising and beyond.

🛠️ What You’ll Do
Leadership & Culture
• Manage and mentor a 4/5-person corporate team; cascade OKRs aligned with studio growth; foster an ownership mindset and demonstrate how Antai adds tangible value to every portfolio company.
• Talent magnet, attracting potential co-founders from different backgrounds and professional experiences for new startupsNew Venture Opportunities and Portfolio Management
• Oversee rigorous evaluation of prospective new venture opportunities, synthesising market, competitive and financial data to surface upside drivers and critical risk factors.
• Lead commercial de-risking processes—including customer-validation sprints, sensitivity modelling and regulatory checks—before green-lighting investment and build phases.
• Join startups as Board Member, to support, align and help grow through all the company lifecycle.Strategy & Go-to-Market Acceleration
• Co-create the strategic roadmap for each new venture, defining value proposition, positioning and measurable objectives.
• Drive hands-on GTM planning, pricing, channel selection and early customer acquisition during the first 12 months to secure product-market fit and revenue traction.Deal Execution & Transaction Management (in collaboration with CFO & CLO)
• Lead and coordinate financial, legal and tax due diligence; structure and negotiate term-sheets and definitive agreements for new ventures and follow-on rounds; manage closing processes.
• Supporting Portfolio Founders in fundraising efforts, helping with definition of funding strategy, preparation of pitch decks and Data Rooms;
• Establishing & nurturing relationships with co-investors (Business Angels, VCs, etc) and other key ecosystem stakeholders.Capital Strategy, Fundraising & Portfolio Finance (in collaboration with CFO)
• Architect fund structures (SCR-PYME, SCSp, SICAV, etc.), originate and close LP commitments and manage investor relations.
• Provide portfolio CFO support on runway planning, unit economics, valuations, convertible/debt instruments and exit modelling.
• Oversee studio FP&A, cash-flow and treasury operations, and own quarterly NAV / LP reporting cadence in concert with the CFO.Corporate Structuring, Governance & Compliance (in collaboration with CLO & CFO)
• Create and manage SL / SA / SPV entities; oversee Notary, Mercantile Registry and CNMV filings, board governance, shareholders’ agreements and ESOPs.
• Ensure end-to-end compliance with AIFMD, MiFID II, GDPR/LOPDGDD, SFDR, EU AI Act and local tax/audit requirements.
• Maintain senior relationships with CNMV, auditors, legal counsel and banking partners to smooth regulatory and funding processes.
🔍 What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years in C-Level positions in start-ups and scale-ups, investment banking, venture capital, venture studios, structured finance or Big-4 strategic consultancy.
• Degree in Business Administration, engineer with an MBA, finance or related; qualified lawyer with dual credentials a bonus.
• Sound working knowledge of start-up technology development—including recent advances in AI—enabling you to spot opportunities and flag execution risks.
• Highly analytical mindset and strong interpersonal skills
• Passion for the digital sector and entrepreneurial mindset – we are both investors and entrepreneurs ourselves
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and influence cross-functional teams and present complex information in simple terms
• Fluent in English & Spanish; Catalan a plus.
• Previous experience in the Spanish Start-up investment scene is a must
• Eligible to work in the EU and willing to be in our Barcelona hub min. 2 days/week.
