Supporting the BD Manager across Private Markets | Investor Relations | Capital Raising

Aura Group is a $1B+ private-markets asset manager with strategies in Private Credit, Private Equity and Venture Capital. We’re expanding our Singapore office and seeking a Junior BD Associate to support our BD Manager in driving capital-raising and investor engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the BD Manager to execute a client-centric, solutions-based sales approach across Aura’s full suite of strategies.
  • Assist with managing and strengthening relationships across institutions, EAMs, IFAs, private banks, family offices, HNWIs, and corporates.
  • Support fundraising activities by preparing materials, managing CRM entries, tracking pipeline, and coordinating follow-ups.
  • Help identify product opportunities and execute targeted BD strategies across both direct and intermediated channels.
  • Support investor events (launches, roundtables, roadshows) by assisting with logistics, presentations, comms, and content distribution.
  • Assist with content creation and thought leadership on social and digital platforms.
  • Uphold positive team culture and support the BD Manager in delivering on strategic objectives.

Ideal Candidate

  • 0–2 years in sales/BD in a finance industry.
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
  • Hungry to learn, detail-oriented, and proactive with follow-through.
  • Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders while managing multiple workflows.
  • A team player with high discipline, initiative and a client-first mindset.
  • Exposure to outbound prospecting and client origination, including identifying and qualifying leads across institutional, intermediary, and private wealth channels, and conducting targeted outreach via various channels.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Affinity, HubSpot) with an understanding of pipeline tracking, lead segmentation, and data hygiene to support fundraising efforts.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance research, personalise outreach at scale, streamline workflows, and improve overall BD efficiency.
