The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) is looking for a curious and digitally minded Student Analyst to join our Transformative Investments & Platform team. This is a newly created role, and while the core responsibilities are outlined below, there will be room to shape the role based on your strengths and interests.

Our mission – driving sustainable growth and innovation

At EIFO, we invest in companies that help shape Denmark's future. Our mission is to drive sustainable growth and innovation by providing long-term capital to startups, scaleups, and growth-stage companies across key technology sectors.

You will join Transformative Investments & Platform, a team working with some of Denmark's most strategic technology investments across areas such as AI, Life Science, Green Tech, Defense, and other deep tech fields. The team combines investment work with portfolio and due diligence support, ensuring we invest not only in strong technologies, but also in strong teams.

You will become part of a dynamic team of six professionals with backgrounds from consulting, startups, and large corporations. As a student, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how a sovereign investment fund operates day to day and play an active role in making our internal processes, tools, and ways of working even better.

The role

This role is operational and process-oriented at its core. You'll be a key support to the team in keeping our day-to-day work running smoothly, while also helping us evolve how we work through better tools, structure, and use of AI.

Your responsibilities will fall into three main areas:

  • Administrative & operational support e.g., managing our CRM, maintaining templates and workflows, and helping plan team events
  • Analytical support e.g., contributing to structured market and sector analyses within EIFO's core verticals
  • AI & digital workflows e.g., experimenting with AI tools and automations to make recurring tasks smarter and more efficient

You'll work closely with experienced colleagues and receive hands-on training as you build your operational, analytical, and digital skillset.

The workload will be approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your studies.

Who you are

We're looking for a curious, structured student who enjoys making things run better. You take pride in well-organized work, you're comfortable digging into data and analyses, and you have a natural curiosity for how technology - including AI - can make everyday work smarter. You don't need a technical background, but you're the kind of person who enjoys exploring new tools in your own time and figuring out how things work.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, technology, or a related field, with strong academic results
  • Is structured, detail-oriented, and reliable - someone who takes ownership of tasks and follows through
  • Enjoys bringing order to processes and finds satisfaction in keeping things organized and running smoothly
  • Is comfortable working with data and structured analyses, and can present findings clearly
  • Has a genuine curiosity for AI tools, automation, and digital workflows, and is motivated to experiment with them in practice
  • Is proactive, service-minded, and thrives in a collaborative setting where supporting the team is a core part of the job

Why join EIFO?

  • Get first-hand experience inside a mission-driven sovereign investment fund at the heart of Denmark's innovation ecosystem
  • Work alongside experienced investment professionals and gain exposure to sectors like deep tech, life sciences, and defense
  • Play an active role in shaping how our team adopts AI and digital tools
  • Develop professionally in a collaborative, supportive environment that values initiative and curiosity
  • Enjoy flexible working hours that fit around your studies

Are you our next colleague?

If you're excited about technology, innovation, and the opportunity to contribute to a team that invests in Denmark's future, we'd love to hear from you.

Please submit your CV, cover letter, and academic transcripts no later than May 6, 2026. Applications will be reviewed after the application deadline has passed.

The recruitment process includes two interview rounds, with a case study assignment in the second round.

For further information, please contact Emilie Sadolin, Senior Investment Associate, at emsa@eifo.dk

EIFO encourages candidates of all backgrounds to apply.

We look forward to hearing from you.
