ABOUT THE ROLE:

Endeavor Catalyst is Endeavor's rules-based co-investment fund, investing alongside the world's leading founders in markets most global investors overlook. Our investors include sovereign funds, development finance institutions, global corporates, banks and family offices across five continents, and we run those relationships as long-term partnerships rather than as accounts to be reported to.

This internship sits inside that work, on the small global team responsible for raising and managing the fund's institutional capital. We are looking for a curious, analytical and clear-writing intern to spend the summer on one substantial question: as we plan the next phase of our capital base, who should our most important partners be, what should they get from us, and how do we prove that we deliver it.

You will be given a real strategic question, a lot of access, and close guidance while you work out the answer. You will research how the best institutional investors in the world service their largest partners, analyse and score candidate institutions across geographies, and help turn what we offer our investors into something standard, documented and repeatable. The output goes to senior leadership and informs decisions the firm is actively making.

You will work directly with a Global VP and Managing Director on the investor relations team throughout the summer, with weekly one-to-one time and a defined piece of work every few weeks. By the end of the internship you will have built a body of original research and analysis on how global venture capital raises and keeps institutional capital, a view of entrepreneurship across 45+ markets, and exposure to a part of the industry that is normally closed to anyone outside the team.

This internship is ideal for someone excited by venture capital, emerging markets and institutional investing, who wants real responsibility and senior visibility inside a mission-driven organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility #1: Benchmark how the world's leading investors service their most important partners

  • Research how top venture funds, development finance institutions and fund-of-funds define, structure and service their largest investors. Gather evidence from public sources and from conversations, and form a point of view we can act on.

• Responsibility #2: Analyse and prioritise candidate institutions across markets

  • Build and score candidate lists of institutional investors and family offices across geographies, drawing on public research and on the Endeavor network, and make the case for which are worth pursuing and why.

• Responsibility #3: Help standardise what we offer our investors

  • Work with teams across Endeavor to document what each part of our investor offering involves, what it takes to deliver, and how it should be described. Turn a set of practices into something clear, consistent and repeatable.

• Responsibility #4: Build the evidence base and help design how we report it

  • Reconstruct what we have delivered to our investors over recent years, organise it into something we can show, and help shape what we report to them and on what cadence.

The precise scope is confirmed at the start of the internship, based on where the team's priorities sit at that point. Interns on this team should expect their work to evolve with a live fundraising and investor relations agenda, which is part of what makes the summer interesting.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - WHO YOU ARE

• Student Status: Undergraduate junior or senior, or graduate student

• Interests / Areas of Focus:

  • Preferred background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Studies or a related field; candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills and interest are encouraged to apply

  • Strong written English. Much of the output of this internship is documents that senior people read, and clear writing is a large part of the job

  • Comfort with primary research: finding the people who know something, asking good questions, and being undeterred by an unanswered email

  • Analytical ability with both numbers and structure, and genuine enjoyment in taking something messy and organising it

  • Interest in venture capital, institutional investing or emerging markets; prior finance experience is welcome and not required

  • Sound judgment about confidentiality. You will see sensitive investor information and will be expected to handle it inside our systems and nowhere else

  • Takes direction well, comes back with more than was asked for, and says so when something does not make sense. This is a closely guided role rather than an unsupervised one

  • Comfortable working in a multilingual, global, cross-cultural environment, and across time zones

• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. We will not be able to interview or select candidates without valid U.S. work authorization for the 2027 year.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Endeavor Summer Internship Program gives students 10 weeks to do more than just watch from the sidelines. You'll be put side by side with our Headquarters teams in NYC, San Francisco, London, Dubai, or Singapore, owning meaningful projects that move Endeavor forward.

You'll contribute to real work from day one, and by the end of the summer, you'll present it directly to our CEO. Along the way you’ll get access most internships can’t offer, including fireside chats with our CEO, candid conversations with category-defining Endeavor Entrepreneurs, and face time with executives across our global HQ. You’ll leave with new skills, relationships across 50+ countries, and a much deeper understanding of how entrepreneurship works around the world.

• Program Duration: June 7th, 2027 to August 13th 2027

• Pay: New York State minimum wage ($17/hr), up to 40 hours/week

• Structure: This is a hybrid internship in New York City, with three days per week to be spent at Endeavor Global’s HQ office in Downtown Manhattan
