Job Description
We are currently hiring a transactional lawyer to join the Legal Support Team. The successful candidate may be responsible for delivery of one or more functions with a focus on specific Practice Groups and/or region.
Job Requirements:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of corporate documents with clients, including non-disclosure agreements, non-reliance letters, and joinder agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analyze laws, regulations and developments and communicate to senior leaders.
- Engage in other special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Law Degree and admission to practice is required. Attorney candidates must be in compliance with all relevant licensing requirements including the requirements of the jurisdiction where the role will be located prior to commencement of employment.
- 1-2 years of corporate law experience in a major law firm and/or financial institution.
- Working knowledge of contract review and legal analysis.
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and in writing – required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn and utilize registration statement software to perform work functions
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities at any given moment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple business and support groups
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Litera Workshare Compare.
