We are currently recruiting an experienced Documentation Specialist to support the JPMorgan Asset Management Mutual Funds Legal groups in connection with JPMorgan’s registered mutual funds and ETFs (together, the “Funds”) and their SEC registration and ongoing reporting obligations. This role provides exposure to all aspects of the Funds business and the Asset & Wealth Management legal organization, and offers the opportunity to work with a fast-paced, growing platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently prepare, draft, update, and review Fund offering documents and related regulatory filings.
- Draft and update Fund prospectuses, summary prospectuses, and statements of additional information (or materials of comparable scope/complexity).
- Utilize registration statement/filing software and related technology tools to input, manage, and track document changes.
- Coordinate the compilation and preparation of materials for Fund Board meetings, including supporting documentation.
- Support both new product launches (including new Funds/strategies) and ongoing maintenance of existing Funds and strategies.
- Liaise with financial printers and coordinate filing logistics; support the SEC filing process as needed.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across product strategy and development, fund administration, marketing, risk, compliance, and portfolio management.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience preparing mutual fund and/or ETF disclosure documents (prospectuses, summary prospectuses, SAIs) or comparable documentation experience.
- Familiarity with the SEC filing process; experience working with financial printers.
- Strong comfort with technology and a willingness to learn and use registration statement software.
- Experience reviewing shareholder reports (annual/semi-annual) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Law degree strongly preferred; admission to practice not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work across multiple business and support groups.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
