The Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Remediation and Correction functional area cares for the identification, classification, and correction of customer impacts caused by business process or operational breaks within CCB. Within the this function, the team focuses on correcting the impacted accounts via recalculating and/or crediting finance charges, fees, and rewards balances; correcting/changing finance charge and fee structures; initiating customer communications, etc.
As a Quantitative Analytics Analyst Sr in Remediation & Corrections Analytics, you will support various lines of business, including Home Lending, Auto, Consumer & business banking , Cards and Wealth Management. The Analyst will perform end-to-end testing of the case requirements and analysis on code against those requirements and execution plans; while confirming correct usage of data sources, standard code, adherence to guidelines and regulations, and following best practice standards
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify scenarios based on Correction Case requirements
- Perform validation on cases resulting from difficult, complex, multilayered, data intensive business problems.

Effectively communicate with BA/Developers and PMs on the issues identified
- Develop test plan, code and macro validation procedures, job aids, tools and approaches and effective communication of defects
- Perform code to business requirement validation
- End to end ownership of correction cases
- Develop test scenarios for each logic and business requirements
- Write queries and run frequencies to validate population and output files

Ensure correct formatting and logic of all output files
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Under -Graduation / Post-Graduation degree in a quantitative discipline; Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent work/training is required.
- 8+ years of experience in requirements a SQL and SAS Developer or related role
- Must have ability to understand complex SQL queries

Banking experience in one or more US consumer credit portfolios (Mortgage, Credit Card, Auto, Consumer and Business Banking)
- Basic knowledge on Alteryx
- Focused attention to detail, analytical & inquisitive with high standards for quality and accuracy

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prefer querying skills in SAS, SQL, Python and Snowflake environment’
- Base and Advanced SAS Certified and working in Snowflake/Alteryx will be an added advantage.
- History of effective multi-tasking, expectation setting, and escalation of issues, where appropriate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior level individuals.

Able to work effectively under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
