The Junior Planner in Amenity Services will play a crucial role in planning meetings within the Client Center and ensuring exceptional customer experience. Acting as the single point of contact during the planning for clients, and coordinate with event partners to ensure a seamless event execution.

As an associate planner, you will play a crucial role in Amenity Services by planning meetings within the Client Center and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Acting as the single point of contact during the planning process for clients, you will coordinate with event partners to ensure seamless event execution. Your responsibilities will include managing logistics, anticipating client needs, and proactively addressing challenges to deliver high-quality service. By fostering strong relationships with both clients and event partners, you will contribute to the success of each event and uphold the standards of excellence expected at JPMorganChase.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee meetings and events, collaborating with catering, audio-visual and facilities teams.
  • Provide personalized customer service to all clients and employees.
  • Address challenges with effective solutions while ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain a professional and flexible attitude, delivering exceptional service.
  • Participate in daily operations meetings and weekly reviews for event planning.
  • Conduct pre and post conference calls / meetings to manage details effectively.
  • Manage space issues and escalate unresolved matters to the lead planner or manager.
  • Perform reception desk duties, including answering calls, emails and escorting clients.
  • Master EMS for reservations, request reviews and report generation.
  • Communicate effectively with the planning team and reservation holders.
  • Prioritize and process new meeting room reservations promptly.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years experience in Luxury Hospitality Industry, Event Planning and Food & Beverage with high touch customer service, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues professionally and warmly
  • Ability to effectively manage guest experiences and expectations using a high level of tact and diplomacy
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are essential, and knowledge of the EMS booking system
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts to cover client center hours and locations
  • Bachelor’s degree required over conference center hours and locations.
