As a Payment Lifecycle Associate I within Payments Operations, you will support day-to-day cash controls and reconciliations for Non Treasury Managed( NTM) currencies, ensuring Client vs. Nostro balances align and exceptions are identified, investigated, and remediated. The role requires strong execution discipline, comfort working with exception reporting (including iRecs), effective escalation to onshore governance partners, and ownership of monthly interest/top-off activities
Job responsibilities
- Review balances for NTM currencies using standard reporting, including Client vs. Nostro positions and iRecs exceptions, across the assigned account population.
- Investigate balance breaks; identify missing cash entries and initiate remediation to resolve breaks within agreed timelines.
- Escalate issues to the onshore team in accordance with governance procedures, supporting tracking, follow-ups, and resolution support.
- Perform month-end activities including posting monthly interest and ensuring accurate top-off activity reflection.
- Graduate with minimum 4 years of exprience
- Associate-level experience in cash operations, reconciliations, custody/settlement, Asset Servicing or financial controls within a banking/markets environment.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate exceptions, resolve breaks, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with reconciliation/exceptions tools (e.g., iRecs or similar) and operational reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate clearly and work across onshore/offshore teams.
- Knowledge of ISO or Swift message processing or management.
