As a Deal Services Associate in Mexico, you will join a dynamic, collaborative team where you’ll build strong relationships and play a key role in supporting client transactions across debt, equity, and mergers and acquisitions.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to deal teams, supporting the origination and execution of client transactions end-to-end.
- Take ownership of client activities and transaction milestones, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all steps in the deal lifecycle.
- Join due diligence calls, coordinate follow-up actions, and help manage the deal pipeline.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, credit, research, finance, and business management teams to ensure smooth execution and strong controls.
- Oversee the approval process for transactions, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Partner with KYC and operations teams to facilitate onboarding and ongoing client needs.
- Identify and implement ways to streamline processes, reduce administrative work, and improve efficiency for the team.
- Monitor deal controls, address issues proactively, and ensure all milestones are achieved on time.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Experience with investment banking products such as mergers and acquisitions, equity or debt capital markets, or loans.
- Strong relationship-building skills and comfort interacting with clients and senior executives.
- Self-motivation, ownership, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Experience in relationship management, sales, or deal execution is a plus.
