As an APAC Regulatory Reporting Associate within the Asset Management Operations team in Taiwan, you will work closely with Operations teams across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China, and Australia, as well as the Global Reporting Management & Controls (GRMC) team in London and India, to promote best practices and governance consistency. You will manage the regulatory filings inventory, track timeliness of submissions, report monthly Management Information, and assess report owners’ certification, while partnering with Technology and the Chief Data Office to onboard regulatory reports onto the global strategic system, and supporting process automation improvements, governance, and control.
Job responsibilities
Work with Operation teams to understand upcoming regulations impacting the team and assist with the solution operating model to support regulatory changes.
Collaborate with tech teams and stakeholders on process automation improvements to global strategic system.
Identify and drive process improvements by reviewing current processes, identifying efficiency opportunities, and initiating automation projects.
Perform Control and Quality Assurance testing to ensure ongoing reporting is complete and accurate; escalate and assist in resolving issues.
Prepare and conduct monthly governance meetings with all APAC report owners and track task status
Coordinate with internal parties / external vendors to resolve reporting issues or regulatory survey.
Participate in periodic rotations within Operations in Taiwan (e.g., Fund Services Support, Core Ops, Middle Office, Guideline Management, Fee Billing) for BAU support.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Fluent in written and verbal English; able to gather regulatory reporting information from Operation Teams and produce formal documentation in required formats.
Strong self-discipline, ownership, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent analytical, great attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrated focus on process efficiency and ability to leverage IA tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath) for automation.
Professional License: SITE/SICE related certificates required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance.
Asset Management background desirable but not essential.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to accept challenges and changes.
