The position involves day-to-day collaboration with key business partners, including Practices & Solutions Marketing and Regional Marketing; Product and Solutions teams; Digital and Technology teams; Client Service; Business Management; and Legal/Compliance. There are generally two areas of responsibility: (1) supporting the creation of client communications across multiple media types and formats (digital, print, presentations, etc.) and (2) providing writing, messaging, and positioning support for other projects, as needed.
As the Client Communications Associate within Asset & Wealth Management, you will support the development of effective client and marketing communications for the JPMorgan Chase Private Bank, contributing to how the business presents itself and its offerings to clients. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will develop a working understanding of the Private Bank’s value proposition and client experience and apply these insights to communications projects across a range of formats and channels.
Job Responsibilities
- Reports to the Head of Client Communications
- Writes in a clear, direct manner consistent with the J.P. Morgan voice and editorial style guide, with guidance from senior team members as needed
- Supports stakeholder coordination to help move copy toward final approval
- Keeps relevant stakeholders informed of project progress
- Delivers work within agreed deadlines
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 2+ years of professional experience; prior exposure to client-facing communications or content writing; experience within investment or financial services
- Demonstrated writing ability, with the capacity to communicate clearly and concisely, and a willingness to develop skills in translating complex financial information for a non-specialist audience
- Open to feedback and direction on how messages can be shaped for different audiences and formats
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with concurrent deadlines, with strong organizational skills
- Basic familiarity with different content distribution channels, including web, print, and presentation formats
