Our Talent Acquisition Team plays a critical role in attracting exceptional talent to OMERS and Oxford Properties. We partner directly with senior investment leaders to build high-performing teams across private equity, infrastructure, credit, and capital markets.
We are seeking a Lead, Talent Acquisition to drive front office investment recruiting across North America. This individual will operate as a strategic talent partner to senior stakeholders, owning complex searches and shaping hiring strategies across key investment teams.
This role is based in Toronto and reports to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for front office and investment-related roles from sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers and senior business leaders to develop talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth objectives
- Provide real-time market intelligence on talent pools, competitor activity, and compensation dynamics
- Conduct proactive market mapping and direct sourcing of passive candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and industry relationships. Design and execute targeted talent mapping strategies.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience while ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and timely communication throughout the process
- Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates, industry networks, and external partners to create sustainable talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill investment roles.
- Collaborate with HR partners, compensation teams, and business leadership on hiring approvals, offer structures, and workforce planning
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting within ATS systems and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Support diversity and inclusion hiring initiatives and broader employer branding efforts across investment and consulting talent pools
- Analyze recruitment metrics and pipeline data through Workday and Phenom reporting to provide actionable insights on hiring trends, funnel performance, and talent acquisition effectiveness.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including experience recruiting for investment, front-office, consulting, or other highly specialized professional roles.
Advanced sourcing and talent mapping capabilities, including direct outreach, market research, competitive intelligence, and passive candidate engagement.
Demonstrated success managing complex searches and advising senior leaders throughout the hiring process.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and partner effectively with senior business leaders.
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and candidate management skills.
Strong understanding of investment talent markets, competitor landscapes, and hiring trends across financial services, asset management, private markets, or related sectors.
Strong analytical capabilities with experience using recruitment data and reporting to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
Experience leveraging applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM platforms, including Workday and/or Phenom.

The expected salary range for this position is $86,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year.
