  • Analyze data issues to identify root causes, assess business impact, and recommend practical solutions that improve data quality and operational efficiency.

  • Support stakeholder requests for data enhancements, operational improvements, and new business requirements.

  • Document operational procedures, workflows, data definitions, and controls to improve consistency, transparency, and knowledge sharing.

  • Review and validate pricing and valuation data for public and private investments in line with established policies and data quality standards.

  • Participate in change initiatives, system upgrades, and testing activities, including data validation, user acceptance testing, and implementation support.

  • Build strong working relationships across Investment Teams, Risk, Performance, Finance, and Technology to support effective data operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in data operations, investment operations, middle office, back office, or financial systems support.

  • Knowledge of investment data domains such as reference data, market data, pricing, valuations, and risk analytics.

  • Understanding of data management principles, including data quality, controls, governance, and lineage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, assess impact, and communicate findings clearly.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • University degree in Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with investment platforms, operational data tools, or reporting systems; familiarity with CRD, Calypso, Eagle PACE, or similar platforms is an asset.

  • Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools; SQL, Python, Power BI, and workflow tools such as Azure DevOps are assets.
