WHO WE ARE:

Plug and Play Tech Center is the ultimate innovation platform, bringing together the best startups and the world's largest corporations to create the most meaningful connections that bring innovation to anyone, anywhere. We are on a mission to bring the benefits of Silicon Valley to all corners of the world. Each year, hundreds of entrepreneurs join our vertical-specific accelerator programs to team up with our corporate members or receive a direct investment from Plug and Play.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

An associate drives the execution of Plug and Play’s innovation path with ownership over client-facing projects, startup scouting, and investments. The Associate ensures excellence in delivery, builds trusted relationships with clients and startups, and contributes to measurable business impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Execution & Startup Support

  • Manage Core Acceleration Programs: End-to-end execution of the 6-week pre-acceleration program (~22 startups/year) and the 12-week incubation program (5 startups/year).
  • Cohort Facilitation: Coordinate workshops, office hours, Coaching Days, mentor scheduling, and continuous progress tracking for participating founders.
  • Founder Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for current founders and alumni, delivering pitch preparation and maintaining CRM accuracy.

Startup Scouting & Deal Pipeline

  • Targeted Sourcing: Lead deal-sourcing initiatives through open application calls and active outreach to universities, incubators, and tech parks.
  • Evaluation & Shortlisting: Drive pre-screening processes and curate shortlists of high-potential startups aligned with program standards.
  • Corporate Matchmaking: Prepare detailed startup introduction briefs and facilitate warm introductions for corporate partners.

Event Management & Community Engagement

  • Event Logistics & Delivery: Plan, organize, and host Pitch Days, corporate matchmaking sessions, and ecosystem networking events.
  • Ecosystem Building: Foster engagement across founders, mentors, corporate partners, and alumni to strengthen the overall program ecosystem.

TYPICAL BACKGROUND:

  • Education: Master's degree (MBA, Finance, or related field) is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree combined with significant relevant professional experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in VC, consulting, innovation, or client-facing project management.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. A third language is a significant advantage.
