We are searching for a Recruiter to join Primary’s Impact Team to help hire the best talent for Primary portfolio companies. This position will report to the VP, Talent and be a member of our embedded recruiting function - providing full cycle recruiting services and recruiting enablement to Primary portfolio companies.

This role requires managing several full-cycle searches while implementing and maintaining best in class hiring practices around structured and unbiased hiring. Candidates must have a track record of end to end recruiting, executive stakeholder management, proactive communication, and exceptional sourcing skills.

The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who can build rapport quickly and operate with pace and urgency to find great talent.

What You'll Do

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions both technical and non-technical with a focus on quality

  • Build relationships with leaders and quickly calibrate on ideal candidate profiles

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to hire the highest-quality talent for the role in a structured and equitable manner

  • Manage the recruiting process from start to finish, keeping candidate experience top of mind and directing the process to sell and close the right candidate

  • Maintain recruiting related data and report out on hiring progress

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting with at least one year of agency recruiting experience, ideally with experience in both client management and candidate management

  • Expertise in recruiting both technical and non-technical talent using a structured hiring process

  • Experience working with senior leaders and providing top tier stakeholder management

  • Skilled at crafting outbound sourcing strategies to build pipeline quickly

  • Familiarity with using ATS' (Applicant Tracking System) like Ashby and Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and additional sourcing tools

  • Impressive communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to run searches autonomously and also collaborate as part of a team

  • Comprehension of recruiting data and reporting

You must be able to work out of the Primary office in NYC 3 days/week.
