Serena is an early-stage VC fund with a unique model of hands-on operational support. Thanks to a team of Operating Partners who are former entrepreneurs, we help our startups scale faster and more efficiently.

The Role
You’ll be a true co-pilot in the development of our community platform and help us automate and scale our Talent initiatives — while playing a key role in connecting people, needs, and opportunities within our ecosystem. You’ll join the Operating team for a hands-on, high-impact internship, focused on two strategic missions:
Supporting recruitment efforts for our portfolio companies
Developing the Serena community (founders and key C-Levels across our startups)
Your Missions
1. Recruitment Support for Startups
Implement growth strategies to source top talent
Automate repetitive sourcing and qualification tasks
Understand startups’ hiring needs and connect them with concrete solutions (profiles, tools, connections)
Consolidate databases (talents, partners, tools) and help improve processes
2. Community Engagement at Serena
Consolidate and analyze community data (mapping, tracking, performance)
Help design engagement initiatives (events, content, matchmaking, newsletters)
Identify synergies within the community (founders, talent, experts) and enable relevant connections
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this internship if you’re people-oriented and action-driven. Our top 3 must-haves:
People-first mindset – you love chatting with people, understanding career paths, and identifying the right profiles for the right roles
Organized & detail-oriented – you can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Hands-on mindset – repetitive tasks don’t scare you: you master (or automate) them
Also nice to have:
You’re curious, proactive, and not afraid to share ideas or take initiative
Analytical thinker – you enjoy digging into data and turning it into insights
You're comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, basic database logic, and tools like Notion or Airtable
You’re excited to dive into the startup / VC world
