Role Description The Director of Investor Relations is a full-time, hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Salt Lake City, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective limited partners, family offices, and institutional investors. Day-to-day activities include preparing investor updates and presentations, drafting press releases and communications, and coordinating meetings, roadshows, and webinars. The Director will analyze fund and portfolio performance, support financial modeling to inform investor reporting, and ensure timely, accurate distribution of quarterly reports and capital call/distribution notices. The role also involves collaborating closely with investment, finance, and marketing teams to align messaging, support fundraising efforts, and maintain a clear, consistent narrative about SpringTide Ventures’ strategy and impact in healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Strong investor relations skills, including experience managing relationships with limited partners and institutional investors.
  • Robust analytical skills and proficiency in finance, with the ability to interpret and present complex investment data clearly.
  • Experience in financial modeling and performance analysis to support reporting, forecasting, and fundraising materials.
  • Ability to draft and refine press releases and formal communications tailored to investor and media audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or asset management is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
