The Marketing Associate serves as a critical, cross‑functional role supporting marketing strategy, operations, and campaign execution across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Working in close partnership with marketing, business development, and senior stakeholders, the role combines strategic coordination, executional excellence, and stakeholder management to deliver high‑impact initiatives aligned with regional and organisational objectives.
This position requires strong relationship‑building and influencing skills, as the Marketing Associate proactively engages internal teams and external partners to secure speaking opportunities, deliver conferences and events, and support sales enablement initiatives. The role also includes day‑to‑day management of interns and junior team members, with responsibility for providing guidance, oversight, and ongoing development.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must demonstrate strong ownership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting, brings a proactive interest in the investment management industry, and is capable of leading initiatives end‑to‑end from concept through execution.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support day-to-day marketing operations, strategy, and campaign execution across Europe, Middle East and Asia, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with regional objectives.
- Proactively liaise with industry conference organisers to build and sustain strong relationships, strategically identify and secure speaking opportunities, and coordinate closely with internal stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgment in managing exceptions, trade‑offs, and stakeholder sensitivities, escalating strategically when decisions require senior input or broader alignment with firm objectives.
- Act as day‑to‑day manager for interns and junior team members, providing guidance, oversight, and development support.
- Lead the planning and delivery of conferences and events, including managing vendor negotiations, logistics, invitation campaigns, pre- and post- event analytics, presentations, and seamless attendee and speaker engagement.
- Partner closely with Business Development and Sales Enablement teams to ensure marketing and event efforts directly support client acquisition, retention, and growth priorities.
- Lead event analytics and translate data into actionable insights, evaluating engagement and ROI, and using insights to inform future investment, prioritisation, and strategy.
- Act as a regional connector across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, ensuring consistency of messaging, execution, and stakeholder experience while adapting to local market needs.
Educations and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, finance (or other related degree preferred)
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, asset management or other related businesses, within non-US jurisdictions (preferred)
- Highly motivated self‑starter with demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, paired with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised and accountable leader, able to drive initiatives end‑to‑end from concept through execution while empowering others.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments while managing multiple concurrent projects under tight deadline.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (required)
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce (required)
