This is an ideal opportunity for an extremely analytical and meticulous professional who is passionate about the VC industry and is motivated to make an impact on the greater ecosystem. This is a full-time role based in the Philippines.

Responsibilities:

• Shape investment ideas and investment thesis through the analysis of research & market trends across SEA
• Conduct extensive market research for investment opportunities across SEA
• Perform in-depth research and write high-quality analysis that contributes to TNB Aura’s investment methodology
• Be able to train interns on TNB Aura’s investment methodology and research methods
• Identify data-driven insights and trends from large data sets, with a focus on quality, accuracy and actionability
• Assist investment team on assessing portfolio performance

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics from a top-tier school
• 1 or 2 years of professional experience in a research environment
• Strong analytical, financial analysis skills, with advanced Excel skills
• Experience in producing research addressing alternative markets, such as Venture Capital
• Ability to work independently and within a team context
• Attention to detail, thorough and organised
• Ability to identify key drivers of business models and clarify ambiguity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to cope with the pressure that comes with the start-up culture
