We are expanding the Philippine team and are seeking candidates who express the hunger and drive to join us on the exciting journey ahead. You will have the opportunity of working closely with a team of top-tier investors and entrepreneurs. This is an ideal opportunity for a fresh graduate who is passionate about the VC industry and is motivated to make an impact on the greater ecosystem. This is a full-time role based in Philippines.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and publishing essays, articles and think-pieces based on TNB Aura’s research, methodologies, and industry findings.
  • Converting TNB Aura’s proprietary research into articles and other publication pieces in collaboration with TNB Aura’s various industry and institutional partners.
  • Performing research and deep dives on companies, startups and and new listings on various financial public markets globally and in Southeast Asia.
  • Aids in shaping investment theses and ideas by driving in-depth analysis of market trends, emerging technologies, and industry dynamics across Southeast Asia.
  • Gathering information and data, interpreting them into clear insights, and presenting findings to founders, team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Help manage research projects in collaboration with external partners, including universities, financial exchanges, research organizations, corporates, and think tanks, to generate proprietary insights.
  • Ensure research outputs are actionable, high-quality, and integrated into the firm’s broader investment methodology.
  • Act as a thought partner to founders and C-levels on scaling operations, assessing new market opportunities, and positioning companies for long-term success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics from a top tier university is required.
  • Prior experience in venture investment, private equity, incubators or startups is a bonus.
  • Strong interest and passion in technology and entrepreneurship.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team - strong agency, autonomy, and collaborative abilities is required.
  • Compositional skills being able to turn data into articles and think-pieces is a must.
