Two Sigma Securities is seeking a motivated, highly organized, and technically proficient Senior Operations Specialist to join our Middle Office Operations team. In this role, you will perform critical middle office functions and contribute to projects that support the firm’s core business operations. The position offers broad exposure across markets and the opportunity to collaborate with our Trading, Engineering, and Corporate teams. You will take on the following responsibilities:
  • Provide operational support to trading desks
  • Coordinate cross-functional processes and projects with internal and external partners
  • Resolve trade breaks in coordination with clearing brokers and counterparties
  • Perform daily and month-end reconciliation of positions, cash, and P&L against broker and administrator records
  • Ensure that trading systems reflect reconciled data and that operational procedures and risk controls are accurately maintained
  • Analyze and process corporate actions
  • Monitor and resolve locates and potential buy-ins
  • Find opportunities to build new tools and improve existing process flows and controls
  • Support the onboarding of new strategies and business initiatives
You should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a strong academic record
  • 6–10 years of relevant financial operations or trade support experience
  • Thorough understanding of the full trade lifecycle across multiple products, particularly equities, futures, and options
  • Comfort working with large datasets to identify patterns and irregularities
  • Understanding of operational risk management as it relates to trade support and execution
  • Proven track record of establishing a strong control environment and implementing efficiencies
  • Ability to work across multiple technology platforms and to design or contribute to operational dashboards and analytics
  • Strong prioritization skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg
Preferred Qualifications:
  • FINRA Series 7 or Series 99 license
  • Experience with data and analytics tooling such as Alteryx or Tableau, and with LLM-based developer tools
  • Proficiency with SQL and/or Python

The base pay for this role will be between $125,000 and $200,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
