Please note that we will not consider candidates who have not completed each of these steps.

FUND OVERVIEW

ResilienceVC is a seed-stage venture fund investing in fintech startups that drive both commercial returns and financial resilience for low- and moderate-income consumers and small businesses. As impact investors, we invest in startups that are leveraging new technologies and business models to provide affordable, relevant, and responsible financial services that increase income, lower risk, and build net worth to help Americans thrive. ResilienceVC is founded and led by Tahira Dosani and Vikas Raj, leaders in early-stage fintech investing with a strong track record of returns and impact.

● Build and maintain relationships with peer venture capital funds, accelerators, incubators, and other fintech and impact ecosystem partners to generate deal flow

● Own ResilienceVC’s pipeline database and lead weekly deal team meetings

● Conduct due diligence on active investments – including market research, business and financial model evaluation, impact analysis, and reference calls – and manage overall timeline/process

● Create and present investment committee materials and assist in deal structuring and execution

Portfolio Engagement and Support:

● Build relationships with portfolio founders and regularly engage with them by attending board and other update meetings

● Provide support to founders as needed through hands-on portfolio engagement projects and ad hoc strategic decision-making help

● Promote ResilienceVC portfolio companies in the broader fintech and impact ecosystems to generate new investment, partnership, and promotional opportunities

Portfolio Reporting and Investor Relations:

● Lead quarterly and annual reporting processes, serving as key point of contact in collecting portfolio company financial, operational, and impact metrics

● Work with founders to create financial and impact reporting packages and ensure reporting is received in a consistent and timely manner

● Craft materials for ResilienceVC annual meeting and other periodic limited partner updates

Thesis Development and Thought Leadership:

● Develop actionable investment themes based on current economic trends, specific customer groups, new areas of technological development, or other relevant trends in financial services

● Write and/or post content that helps establish ResilienceVC as a thought leader in the “fintech for good” space

● Represent ResilienceVC by attending conferences, speaking on panels, and participating in other networking and industry events
